2006 Show Wins

In 2006, Tree Rizin' took a bit of a breather in the show ring.  We've campaigned extremely hard in the past 5 yrs and it was time to devote our extra time to our kids and their individual activities.  With 6 kids, there is always someone involved in something:  Cheerleading, Track, Softball, Wrestling, school play- etc.

Our shows were limited but successful in 2006.

* Janie had several nice hounds at each stage to beat to advance to the next stage.  Up for Best In Show was a national contending plott.  When Janie went up for Queen- she faced off with two National Contenders- both English who won Champion & Grand Champion.  She then had to show against the King of Show (another National Contending english) as well as the King & Queen of Show on Friday to win the Overall Title.  I don't have an accurate number of how many total dogs showed on both days but this is a huge state level win for Janie as it was by no means an easy victory.  She had tough competition all day long.  Great job 10 mth old Janie!
