UPDATE October 2020:
Wrath is a king of this kennel. He is 10 1/2 years old now, and he has made us
extremely proud over the years. He has made a super nice coondog, was an EXCEPTIONAL show dog in his day, and has produced
probably my favorite litter ever in Aria, Ally, & Jasmine.
I cannot say enough about this hound.
He is my heart. Losing his counterpart, Bella, last year was so difficult. I don't even know what we'll do when his
time comes, but what I do know is that we will make the most of the time we have him. Here's to his 11th coon season!
On 4/24/2011:
What
a weekend!!! Wrath entered his first UKC Multi-breed shows Easter Weekend-- boy, what a way to start!!
In four shows, Wrath took a Group 4, a Group 3, TWO Group 1s AND A
BEST IN MULTI-BREED SHOW and finished to Conformation Champion!
Wrath's show career has been AWESOME so far. To date, his wins
include:

Wrath is our
2010/11 Show Prospect and is 4th generation Tree Rizin' breeding on her father's side. We expect big things from Wrath
and he is DOING big things!
He is from a family of winners. Wrath's
pedigree packs a Tree Rizin' foundation that has served us well for over ten years. It is versatile and proven to win.
We have high hopes for Wrath and expect that he will lead our show kennel into the future both on the bench and in our breeding
program.
Wrath's mother, Sydney is one of the best
hounds I have ever had the pleasure to handle on the bench and on the ground. She swept the redbone Purina race in 2008
winning EVERY Purina event she was put in from registered to grand show champion. That is a first for our kennel and
I would venture you would be hard pressed to find many hounds out there that have finished undefeated at all national level
purina point events. She left a legacy behind that will be hard to beat.
Sydney is now in Colorado taking the AKC ring by storm. She has a completed her AKC Conformation title
and is now being Specialled in the All Breed Ring.
Beethoven is
Wrath's sire and was one of the nicest male dogs I have ever owned. He is FLASHY, super outgoing, and has a "look at
me" presence that just doesn't quit. He is 3rd generation Tree Rizin' breeding and is already turning heads. He has
an exceptional mouth-- as does Sydney.
This cross was made because I felt that Bay
& Syd compliment one another in conformation (they both have super deep chests, gorgeous angulation, nice front shoulder
and are both a beautiful dark shade of red) and mouth-- both have a long LOUD bawl mouth that won't quit.
What's In A Name????
Wrath is named in honor of the JR Ward series The Black Dagger Brotherhood (hence
the BDB in the background). The first book in the series is titled "Dark Lover". Wrath represents that book's
main character (Wrath). When this litter was born, I dubbed all of the puppies after the BDB series replacing "Lover"
in each title with "Hunter". Wrath became 'PR' Tree Rizin' Dark Hunter. II DNA Profiled every puppy in the litter
for a Verified Parentage pedigree. (We take pride in generations of verified parentage in our Tree Rizin' stock.)
Stick around here & watch Wrath make his mark.
