UPDATE 11/8/2008:
The puppies are 8 wks old and are QUICKLY being sought after. The first pickup was today- Hercules
has gone to his new home. Many of the other puppies have been chosen and are awaiting pickup.
We will be retaining a male & a female for now. Our female (previously named Lyra)- will
now be named 'PR' Tree Rizin' All Hail The Queen to showcase her family royalty.
The male (who in more recent pictures has been dubbed "dark green" for his new collar color) will
be named 'PR' Tree Rizin' Jailhouse Rock (King). This name combines a spin of Crown & Rocket.... following the family
royalty them with King but also honoring Rocket whose registered name is CH 'PR' Elburn's Rock It Red. What could be
more fitting than a song that includes "ROCK" sung by the KING of ROCK N ROLL himself, Elvis Presley. :)
Curtis, Kathy & Andi Elburn are taking the male who wore the white/grey collar in the newer pictures.
We wish them must success with him.
Scarlett Overton & "By Faith" kennels will be taking the blue collared male and hopefully, between
the three of us, we'll be taking competition by storm in 2009.
There are still a few males unspoken for in this litter and still more that need to be picked up
(as well as Pegasus who has been spoken for but not picked up) so there is still time to contact us and grab one of these
pups. It should be an amazing cross with outstanding foundation!!
Since buying Crown back early this year, we've been excited about the prospect of adding her to our
breeding program. She has a killer awesome head, a nice deep and wide chest, great color and an awesome personality.
It's been quite an endeavor choosing a sire for Crown and working out the logistics to get it done. Then, at American
Redbone Days this year, I took notice of a nice NICE young dog owned by Curtis & Kathy Elburn. I loved his size,
his presence and he is really awesome on the bench. Top that off, Kathy says that he is LOUD LOUD LOUD!!!! The
icing on the cake is that Rocket was just named overall show winner at National Redbone Days!
I knew I wanted to linebreed Crown & Rocket works into that plan perfectly. This is an
uncle to niece cross. Check out the stats and win lists in this pedigree. Also notice that Rush's mother is a
littermate to Dutch's mother!! :) Also-- that connection brings in Comstock Lightning twice as he is the sire to Mobley's
Scarlet Princess.
Crown is out of the infamous "DUTCH X TRIPPY" cross. This cross has produced more wins than
any other ONE cross that I am aware of in the history of our breed. It produced:
