WHAT IF MY PUPPY PREFERENCE IS NOT AVAILABLE?
If the puppy you book (by sex and litter) is for whatever
reason not available {the mother did not have puppies, didn't have enough, didn't have enough of the sex you chose) you have
several options:
1) If available, you may choose to switch to the opposite
sex on the litter of your choice
2) You may choose a puppy from another litter (if
available) that we have at the time in the sex of your choice.
3) You may request your deposit be placed on an upcoming
cross with specified parents and sex.
NOTE: Litter prices vary & buyer will be responsible
for price based on the puppy he/she actually received regardless of what was originally booked. EX. You booked
a $300 litter puppy but it was unavailable- you substitute a puppy that is priced at $250- you will pay $250 total for your
puppy. This applies both ways.
WHAT IF I CHANGE MY MIND AND DO NOT PICK UP MY
PUPPY WHEN READY?
All deposits are nonrefundable.
If you do not pick up your puppy by the pick up date, you will forfeit your deposit and it will not be carried over to a future
litter.
WHAT IS A "CAMPAIGNING" OR "COMPETITION" HOME?
This is a home that actively takes their coonhounds to
events sponsored by the United Kennel Club (UKC) as well as some of the other Kennel Clubs such as PKC, AKC, NKC and ACHA.
These homes compete with their hounds in hunting events, show events, water race events or field trials. To be considered
a "campaigning" home- you must either currently be actively participating in COONHOUND related events as listed above or must
be willing to with your new puppy.
Generally a "COMPETITION" home refers to the difference
between a coonhunter that "pleasure hunts" vs one that actually competes with his hounds.

WHY should I join one or more of the redbone
assn's?
When you join the associations, you receive a yearly
"Redbook" for the association. This book is filled with winners from the previous years' breed days event winners as
well as ads from redbone fanciers such as yourself. Also, in each book is a listing of other members defined by state
so it allows you the opportunity to meet other redbone people that live close to you. Joining the associations also
give you a voice in how to help promote and improve our breed.
