FLASH: Trippy finished her Grand Championship title on July 20, 2002 at the Kentucky Houndsmen Benefit Purina Event in Stanford, KY by winning Champion female. She also took Queen of Show and Best Overall Dog of Show at this event as well. We left there and drove straight over to Clarksville, IN for the RQE to compete against one of the best walker females in the country and won Grand Champion Female getting Trippy qualified for the UKC World Show.
She is growing into a FINE FINE hound. She's one of those special dogs that is going to win big in the show ring and is really going to make a top coondog as well.
Trippy has brains & beauty and we believe she will be a dual purpose dog. Trippy has a SUPER deep loud MALE voice on her that is going to make a person look twice when they hear that big voice coming from a female! I know it made me do a triple take!
We registered Trippy (whose name was already Trippy when she came to us) as " 'PR' Tree Rizin' Triple Crown" because she is a daughter of GRCH 'PR' Rev's Sierra's Red Queen ('98 World Champion Redbone female) whose mother is WORLDCH GRCH 'PR' Hill's Sierra Red Queen (the ONLY redbone to EVER WIN the UKC World Show Championship overall- 92 World Champion). Since she is a "product" of two Queen's- we decided to combine her "royalness" with her call name and came up with Tree Rizin' Triple Crown. I think it is a name very fitting for Trippy and I hope that she will keep the family tradition alive!!
HUNT UPDATE: Trippy is now being hunted quite frequently. She has really turned on in the woods- despite getting a late start. She will grab right hold of a coon & is there until the end. She has tracked & treed her own coon and is doing a great job with company as well. When you turn her loose- you can tell that "SHOW" dog sure isn't afraid of the dark!
We look forward to completeing her hunt training and then intend to begin competition hunting her next season.
She's a dog that we are proud to have in our kennel & will someday become part of the foundation of Tree Rizin' Redbones. Her win credits to date (since I've owned her) include:
